Responsibilities:
Fitness Together Reading is looking for exceptional Personal Trainers and fitness trainers to join our team of highly educated and motivated fitness professionals.
We need people who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those around them by taking a holistic, prescriptive approach that incorporates resistance training, cardiovascular training, nutritional guidance, and genuine care.

Personal Trainers make from $49K to $55K annuallyPaid continuing educationPaid time offBonuses and incentives based on key performance indicatorsNo direct sales or marketingPersonal Trainers are employees, not independent contractorsNo split shiftsMedical & dental Simple IRA w/ Company matchAdditional benefits may applyAs a Fitness Together Personal Trainer, you willDesign safe and effective fitness programs, accommodating the unique needs and goals of each Fitness Together client, including adapting programs when clients travel or participate in their sessions virtuallyEducate and empower clients with a clear understanding of their fitness program, so that they are motivated to stay committed to their plan outside the studioConduct both in-studio and Live, 1-on-1 Virtual Personal Training sessions with clientsBring a positive attitude and show regular appreciation to clients and team members every dayCreate unique, memorable and personal experiences for clients that make Fitness Together customers clients for lifeInteract with clients and team members without judgment, and express empathy for those around youFoster a culture of teamwork and collaboration to meet the needs of those around youAlways maintain a space of cleanliness and ensure a safe and accident-free environmentRepresent yourself professionally through your appearance, language, and behaviorExpress patience, determination, and genuine care to hold clients accountable to reaching their goalsConstantly look for ways to improve your skills to grow as an expert in your fieldPosition RequirementsMinimum of a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferredNational Certification required (NSCA, NASM or ACSM)One year of personal training and program design experienceExtensive understanding of injury prevention/managementExperience & success working with special populationsCPR/AED and First Aid CertificationExcellent verbal communication and listening skillsAbility to collaborate and thrive in a team environmentAbility to adapt quickly to each client's individual needsMust have the emotional stamina to be at your best with each clientAbility to motivate and coach clients, in order to ensure continuous commitmentAdhere to all safety and sanitation protocols for the studioA cover letter is required to be considered for the position.
