Job Description:
Come work for our team Johnson 3 is an exciting 32 bed medical telemetry unit that uses evidence-based practice to compassionately and expertly care for patients with stroke, cardio-pulmonary disorders, and acute infections including sepsis.
We are the designated stroke unit that is providing exciting opportunities for growing our bedside neurological assessment skills.
Our staff uses a comprehensive team approach in caring for our patient population where we pride ourselves in creating a positive work environment.
The services we provide include patient education such as diabetes teaching, congestive heart failure checklists, continuing care for acute blood clots, respiratory care, comprehensive stroke care, and discharge planning instructions in regards to the specific admitting diagnosis.
Our new telemetry monitoring system allows staff to carefully assess for cardiac arrhythmias (chronic or acute) during the patient's stay and treat such arrythmias accordingly, as well as complete care of the patient with self-limiting and chronic conditions.
Johnson 3 generally accepts patients ranging from 18 years of age or older with stable cardiac and medical conditions.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following:
o Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments, observes patient's progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness o Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each individual patient o Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working.
The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program.
Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation.
The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.
Required
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred o Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts o Basic Life Support (BLS) required o Basic telemetry experience or successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Care of the telemetry patient required within 6 months of hire FLSA Status:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
