Summary:
The Business Development Director is a player/coach role responsible for managing a small team, while prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
The Director will help guide the team through day-to-day sales cycles, mentoring & training the team for overall success.
They will also focus on developing a rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
Also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients, while developing the pipeline of new business coming into the company.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Individual Performance Manage a team of 3-4 people that are responsible for selling Advisory Services (Technical Accounting, Internal Audit/SOX, Transaction & Transformation Services, and System Implementations) in various markets in the Northeast.
Drive strategic account planning and development across all professional services Create processes for leveraging opportunities across service lines Develop partnership relationships with new/potential clients executive level personnel in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit and IT Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends Understand Eliassen's goal and purpose to help enhance the company's performance Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in salesAdministration Have oversight for Salesforce Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure goals are being pursued and accomplished according to plan.
Ensure that opportunities are entered and managed within Salesforce Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiatorsCollaboration Leading the reporting of activities against KPIs for the entire BD organization against KPI's Support training and education for BD professionals, consultants (with respect to BD), et al Supporting cross selling initiatives across Eliassen Group Work with consulting staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needsQualifications & Skills:
Bachelor of Science degree At least 12
years of business development experience in the client services arena Strong networking and persuasion skills Experience prospecting new clients Ability to research client's needs and identify client challenges Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven closing skills and motivation for sales Strong knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic and/orNortheast markets Ability to meet sales goals High level of professionalism Experience with Microsoft Office Recommended Skills Advertising Auditing Business Development Closing Skills Coaching And Mentoring Cold Calling Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
